Hello,

I get the following error message when I try to roll out a deployment using MDT.

Why do I get this error message during the process of deployment?

The error displayed as “Application Microsoft Install office 2010 – virtualized returned an unexpected return code”.

Please provide a solution to resolve this issue.

Office 2010 virtualized returned an unexpected return code 1619

Hello, good day. That error message signifies that the package in which MS Office 2010 belongs could not be opened or it might be inaccessible or it might be invalid. Whatever the fault of this particular package, there is a singular fix for this. Before using MDT and deploy the whole system into another machine, uninstall the MS Office 2010 from the source machine.

After that, you can deploy the system to another machine already and once it is done you can re install MS Office 2010 to both machines. In this way, we can avoid the errors that MS Office 2010 causes to the deployment.
