Hello,

I have used YouTube without any trouble for years. Today YouTube was fine when I logged on my computer.

It all clustered and just text when I checked my Inbox, so to see this error: "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe Flash Player.

Get the latest Flash player." When I went to my channel I updated my flash player and double checked I had JavaScript enabled.

I restarted Firefox when it still did not work.

Is it just me or do any of you gets this problem and to fix it what needs to be done?

Most videos on YouTube are streamed through Adobe Flash player. But before installing the latest version of Adobe Flash, you will need to first uninstall any older versions you currently have on your computer.

To do so, download Adobe's official uninstaller here Click .

Make sure to select your correct operating system, and then click on "Uninstall Flash". When you have already uninstalled the older version of Flash, follow Adobe's instructions for re-installing the most recent version. Once you've downloaded the file, please exit your browser first, and then install the upgraded version of Flash to you're computer.

Finally, open your browser again and go to YouTube. You should now be able so successfully watch videos! If the above instructions still didn't work, temporarily disable the popup blocking system installed on your computer. Allow Youtube.com as a trusted site on your Firewall Software.

Make sure that applications like Quicktime, iTunes, Real Player, or Windows Media Player aren't set as the default streaming application, as this might affect the video player and ensure that your computer is set up properly for Adobe Flash.
