I upgraded my PC to Windows 7 and I have uninstalled the old drivers installed on it. I have downloaded the new drivers from Canon site. When I try to install the new drivers I am getting the Message: "Need to uninstall old drivers first". I have cross checked it thoroughly, but Somehow the older drivers had not been removed.

I am not able to install the new drivers by connecting the printer via USB port, nothing happening in the computer.

Uninstall the old version of MF Drivers, and then try to install again.

An older version of MF Drivers exists in the computer.

Hello Mitchell,

Please make sure that you searched correctly. Make sure to check hidden files as well when you set search options. Under the search 

there is another option Advance search, just make sure you check the hidden files and folders.

It could be in Registry printers, Canon especially leaves software in there.

Another option, download and run Regcleaner 4.3. This is a free app which is safe and able to clean up your problem.
