Hi,

Recently, I downloaded the game but when I tried to play this game the following weird message appeared in German as you can see in attached image. What could be the reason? Can I remove this error immediately? Have you any idea?

Thanks for assistance.

Zugriffsverletzung bei AdresseOO4O66D3 in Modul ‘Omsi.exe. Schreiben von Adresse FFFFFFF9.

Hi Jonathon P Smith

Zugriffsverletzung bait address does not happen any problem. Is there something wrong with the script. It, s all about German use of memory error. Check your script and tried to play again. Check your log file it may help you. But when the script is ok, the error must be removed

The error you're getting is connected with the map file (most likely Bowdenham). To confirm which files are missing from it, you will need to download "OMSI Map Tools" from this link. Once the file is downloaded, run it and it will analyze your map files.

Solving the problem is a little bit tricky – you need to actively engage the OMSI mapping community and look for the missing files yourself.

That happened because the game you downloaded is in German version. OMSI 1.0 is a very old version and if you want to install it, make sure your computer meets the requirements. If you downloaded the game from a website, go back to the site and check its system requirements. Make sure the game supports your operating system.

OMSI 2: Steam Edition

If you are using Windows 7, I’m not sure if the game will run on your platform. You may also try running the game in compatibility mode. To do this, right-click the OMSI game launcher and select “Properties”. Go to “Compatibility” tab and check “Run this program in compatibility mode for” then select a version of “Windows XP” from the dropdown list.

Click “OK” then try running the game again and see if it works. If this doesn’t fix the problem, try OMSI 2: Steam Edition. It supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Window 8.x. It requires 2.6 GHz or faster processor, 2 GB RAM, and Microsoft DirectX 9.0c-compatible video card with 512 MB video RAM.
