What is the best and most accurate download DSL speed test you can suggest? I have tried various ones but they all yield very different results, so not sure which one is more accurate. Also, is there any professional tool that could optimize your DSL speed? Your tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch!

Speedtest.net is a free service from Ookla opens hundreds of testing locations around the world to anyone curious about the performance of their Internet connection.

Hi Hunter,

There are two broadband speed testers that I find are the most accurate. I've found accurate results with both of these. You can have a look at it from the link given below.

There might be fluctuations if you perform tests again and again and that is because your bandwidth might be in use by some other application.
