I am having an xls file which got corrupted due to unexpected power failure, I tried different methods to recover the same, but was unable to succeed,

Please guide me whether there is any online xls file repair full providers that will get me a recovered xls file upon uploading the corrupted one.

To repair a corrupt xls file, you can use the following ways:

Repair the file using Excel itself

  • With the Excel file open, go to the file menu and then choose Open.
  • Look for the corrupt xls file in the workbook using the Look In Control.
  • Locate Open and Repair on the drop down list and then click on it.
  • And then click repair.

Move the xls file

Try moving the corrupted xls file to another folder, server or drive. It might just be not accessible as usual and that is why you are getting that error.

Hello, Aron.

There are ways to recover your excel file that has been corrupted. Excel will automatically fix your file to return it into normal. To recover your excel corrupted file.  Open an excel application and choose Microsoft Office button. Then, select "Open" and find your corrupted excel file on the directory file. Once you locate the file, select the file and  click on choose "Open and repair" on the dropdown list from "Open" button. 

And wait until it finished repairing your excel file. Hope will help you best.
