How do computer respond to the BD-R disc? Is there any pop up window that will instantaneously appear after I inserted the disc or shall I have to open some video player to scan the files in the disc? What video files did the blue ray player won’t accept?

Opening Videos in Blue-Ray disks
Well, it will depend on the format of the video files that are on the BD-R disk. In case the files are in the VOB file format that allows them to be opened automatically using the default video player that you have set to open them, then once you insert the disc the video will be automatically detected and start playing.
But if the files are in some other formats like avi of mkv, then you will need to open the files manually for them to be able to play. You will need to insert the disk and then go to My Computer and right click on the DVD disk. You will then open with whichever video player that you want for some that you have installed on your computer will be listed.
