Opensource smtp server software download

Hi guys,

I am looking for an opensource smtp server solution for my personal use on my home pc that is preferably free and has a good supporting community of developers in case I have usage issues with the software. This server should be secure enough to use over the air and apply proper authentication measures.

Opensource smtp server software download

Greetings,

I would recommend iRedMail.

It is completely free, full featured, all packages are open source, and are distributed by trusted Linux / BSD vendors.

You can download it here.

They have a fairly large community of programmers and users.

You can check out their forums on this link and  ​2013-07-16 iRedMail-0.8.5 has been released

You may also try hMailServer which can be found here, as well as ASchroder.com.

The links may not work after several months.
