Openvas Change Admin Password

A password was asked when installing OpenVAS, but the prompt failed. I have OpenVAS installed and it works well, but I can not act as an administrator. How can I openvas change admin password?

Openvas Change Admin Password

You can create a new administrator account with:

openvasad -c add_user -u your_new_login_here -r administrator

Then use this account to change the administrator’s default password. This will solve your problem.
