Opera 11 Browser Error code 0x3002

Hi,

I use windows 7 in my PC. Recently I have downloaded Opera11 and then installed it into my pc. It's not nearly as bad that all described. This was my opinion until I came up with this problem here. Whenever, I was attempting to save a Web page and unexpectedly I just keep getting the following error message:

Opera

Error when initializing the file dialog: 0x3002

Internal program error.

Certain pages can be saved fine on an older version of Opera.

My guess would be that there are compatibility issues between the browser and certain other pages. Any idea as to what is going on?

I have observed this kind of error for the first time by means of any browsers that I used so far and I have not seen any browser that is having issue in saving the Web page. Please can anyone help me to get rid of this problem? I will really appreciate all the help in this matter.

Its ironic that you would say that Opera 11 Is not nearly as bad as its been described, if not only for the fact that it is bad lol, the problem that you are having now is actually as a result of a bug in Opera 11, lol to be quite honest there is not much you can do about it right now other than using a different browser when the error occurs.

I should point out though that the problem is directly associated with the length of the file name being used by Opera until a patch or something else comes up your best solution is to either use a different browser or save the webpage via notepad with a .html extension

Opera 11 Browser Error code 0x3002

• The Opera uses the <title> as filename, by default. So when you save any webpages where the title is more than 256 character, then their functionality fails. The Exception for this runtime error is "PathtooLongException".
• The same problem could be faced in Internet Explorer too. 
• Mozilla Firefox truncates the file-path if it is very large. So whenever you face this problem, try Mozilla Firefox.

Opera 11 Browser Error code 0x3002

 This error will occur if the page title of the opera that uses as a filename is too long.  This error occurred in version of opera 11.01 Build 1190. You can encounter this also on the lower version like 10.01 Build 1844 and opera will not allow you to save pages that has long name. In those versions you can only save pages which has short file name. If you don’t want to encounter this error, you need to update or use higher version of the opera.  So better to use opera version 11.62 Build 1332 or Opera 12 Build 1351, that error fixed there.
