Option didn’t work on outlook msg view

Hello, I’ve recently played with my outlook msg view for my reading pane to preview all kinds of word attachment. It’s surprising that some of the documents don’t have preview. Am I missing something?

Hi Karrie,

I can understand your problem that you are not able to see the preview of every attachment in your email activating your reading pane.

The main reason behind this one is you can preview an attached file in your MS office system application that has its application software already installed on your computer. For example, you can preview a word attachment, if you have word installed, or excel attachment If you have an Excel application installed.

So in this case, I would like you see whether if you have the right kind of application installed on your system to be able to see the preview.
