Oracle BI for MS Office Login Error

Hello all

I have recently installed Oracle BI for MS office successfully but after I set up a connection, my users receive an error when they submit their login credentials.

The screenshot of the error is attached below:

 

The error states:

Login Failed. Please check your username, password and Oracle BI Office server availability.

The version I am using for Oracle BI server is 11.1.1.5.0.

Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Oracle BI for MS Office Login Error

Hi,

You will obtain this kind of error (“Login failed. Please check the username, password and Oracle BI Office server availability) it is for the reason that in the bioffice.xml. The SawBaseURL is positioning to 9704 port. Modify it to 7001 and after that save the property file. Start again the services from EM and attempt to log in again, it run and work properly.
