Oracle Hyperion Smart View for Office shows up this error when I want to open the program. It appears every time when the program is loading and after I press the OK button the program closes. Can anyone help me please to fix this error ? How can I prevent this to appear in the future ?

The error message could be misleading when this error also occurred. At that time the Internet Explorer time out settings does not cater for larger operations.
Internet Explorer shows a KeepAliveTimeout value for one minute along with an additional limiting factor (ServerInfoTimeout) for two minutes. This is by default.

Solution:
There is a recommendation for you. A backup of the registry is done for making any amendments. With the assistance of your Systems Administration group, you may follow:
1. On your system, update / add the registry key:
Open the Registry, Start > Run > Regedit.
2. Locate the following section:Â
[HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionInternet Settings]Â
3. Create the following new DWORD keys with decimal values:
ReceiveTimeout=480000
KeepAliveTimeout=180000Â
ServerInfoTimeout=180000
The ReceiveTimeout setting is 8 minutes.
·        The KeepAliveTimeout and ServerInfoTimeout settings are 3 minutes.
·        Set these to greater than the longest running request.
4. Restart the machine.
