Ordinary users browsing and viewing attributes and values

Can someone help me figure out why other ordinary users who are logged on have the ability of browsing and viewing the attributes together with their values yet I have configured the permissions on the attributes. Please consider that I have an object class and within this class there are also three other optional attributes. I have gone to several websites in search of a solution but I am yet to find something relevant. If anyone knows a solution to this problem, please help.

Ordinary users browsing and viewing attributes and values

There is a chance that the users that are being able to access those attributes despite the fact that you have put checks on it is because they might be defined at the same level as the one you are using to put the checks to.

1. First make a 2nd or 3rd level for the users with restricted privileges.
2. Migrate all the users to that level.
3. Now open any attribute and set the checks or restrictions.
4. You can also define that this attribute must not be accessed by the users that are present in the 2nd or 3rd level respectively.
5. Save all the settings and you are done. You can also try re creating the attributes and while creating do such things.
