Outlook Search Crashed : Pst File Corrupt

The outlook instant search is not responding and I suppose it is because of some corrupt pst file. How to repair the pst corrupt file and if what if I’m using 64bit and not the 32-bit?

Outlook Search Crashed : Pst File Corrupt

The pst file can be repaired by the following process,

If you are using 32-bit windows installed 

A) For Outlook 2007, go to the location below and run the SCANPST.EXE file. C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOffice12SCANPST.EXE

B) Outlook 2010, reach the below location and then run SCANPST.EXE file. C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOffice14SCANPST.EXE or

1. If you are using 64-bit Windows Installed

A) Outlook 2007, reach the below location and then run SCANPST.EXE file. C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft OfficeOffice12SCANPST.EXE B) For Outlook 2010 reach the below location and run SCANPST.EXE file. C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft OfficeOffice14SCANPST.EXE

2. Type your pst file folder
