Hello,
I have this weird error message when I try to install Paint.Net on my Windows 7 (x64). I have downloaded the software from many different sources in mane different ways but nothing seems to work. Please someone tell me from where I can download a good version and tell me why I can’t install it? What is happening with my PC and I have the same error all the time? Thank you!

PaintNet is not installing on Windows 7
There is actually no problem installing Paint.NET on x64 Microsoft Windows 7 because Paint.NET supports both x86 [32-bit] and x64 [64-bit] Microsoft Windows operating systems. The only problem I see here and maybe that’s why you have this error is that you are only using Microsoft Windows 7. For Microsoft Windows 7, you need to update to Service Pack 1 for Paint.NET to work.
To download the Service Pack upgrade for Windows 7, visit Windows 7 Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. When you click on the Download button, it will ask you to select the components to download. Make sure to select only the 64-bit components and then continue with the download. Once downloaded, install it on your computer and restart the machine to finish the update.
Try running Paint.NET again and it should work this time. Also, if you are not using the latest version of Paint.NET, download it from Paint.NET 3.5.11 Download. The required Microsoft .NET Framework will be installed automatically together with Paint.NET.
