Paper Jammed in Printer, what to do now???

Hi, I have a problem in my hp LaserJet printer. Yesterday after printing some pages suddenly a page got jammed and was showing paper jam error 13.1. I switched the machine off and then on again, but nothing seemed to be solved. Why am getting this problem? Please help me.

Paper Jammed in Printer, what to do now???

Hi,

Get your printer off and make sure there is no paper/a piece of paper available inside the printer. You can check carefully by opening the portion of the printer you can open without the help of a tool.

If you select the paper/a piece of paper inside the printer get them out carefully. Here you can use some tools for smooth removal of paper/a piece of paper. Check your printer cartridge and place it in the correct posture carefully.

In this position you can clean inner part of your printer i.e. dust. If everything is ok, switch on the printer and print a test page.
