Hi,
Hopefully, you can use you old printer, even if your computer is not equipped with a parallel port, you just need a USB to parallel adapter that you can buy at any electronics or IT store.
Here is the solution to connect your (old) parallel printer into a USB port:
1) Get the needed cables and adapters.
2) Get the driver for your printer and install it on your PC.
3) Next: go to Control Panel / Printers and Faxes /
4) Right click on the icon of the printer / properties / Ports
5) Uncheck the LPT1 port and check USB001 'Virtual printer port for USB.
And that’s it , it should work.
Thank you
