“parentNode is null or not an object error hotspot shield” Help please!

What might be the reason why I am getting this error? It says, “parentNode is null or not an object error hotspot shield”. This is what I get while running DEBUG in VS Studio. It would hit the debugger repeatedly when moving it from site to site. It just recently started after I downloaded HotSpot Shield.  I am already starting to get annoyed with this. Can you please help me out?

“parentNode is null or not an object error hotspot shield” Help please!

If you are getting this error after downloading and installing Hotspot Shield, check again if your operating system is within the scope of its supported platforms. Hotspot Shield works with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X 10.5 [Leopard], Mac OS X 10.6 [Snow Leopard], and Mac OS X 10.7 [Lion]. If your present operating system is supported by this program then I don’t see why you are having problems with it.

Maybe the application is not installed properly that’s why an error message usually pops up on your screen. If this is the case, try doing a clean installation of Hotspot Shield to restore it to its default configuration and fix any corrupted files that may have developed in the system in the long run. Uninstall Hotspot Shield from your machine then restart your computer when asked. After booting, check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. Install Hotspot Shield again after this and then check if this fixes the problem.
