Partition Magic fails to launch

Hi,

I searched for partitioning software and landed on partition Magic. I downloaded the software but now it is giving an error when I open it. I have not been able to partition any disk yet. Please help.

Error message:

Error 117 Partition’s drive letter cannot be identified

Partition Magic fails to launch

Hi Robert

To create a partition without the help of any partitioning software just simply go to start up button then/right click my computer/select manage/select disk management.In here you can see all available drives to be partitioned. All allocated and free disk space. See the picture below.

Partition Magic fails to launch

Hi Robert,

Maybe you should try these following steps:

1. Open the Partition Magic.

2. Go to General/ Undo Last Change.

If the error still occurs your drive possibly shows up as Unallocated Space. If that happens, you probably lost all the data on your drive and you have to moreover format your drive NTFS in Partition Magic or in Disk Management.
