My computer is having problems. I have just upgraded to Windows 7, the new Mobo, a new RAM and CPU.
My drivers are all up-to-date and have done defragment and virus scans.
When I run games, it starts okay, but it eventually gets too choppy to play. Browsing the Internet also gets slower the longer I stay online, and some website buttons no longer work as they had before (e.g., clicking “reply” in a forum takes me at the top of the page).
I checked on Speedtest.net, and I have a ping of 75 ms, my upload speed is 0.75 Mbps, and download speed of 6.19 Mbps.
PC gets choppy when running games and Internet speed gets slower
Hi,
If the game that you’re trying to play is a very resource hungry software and the ‘upgrade’ that you’ve done barely passed the minimum requirements of Windows, then your system is bound to be choppy and crawl while running the game. Try and see to it that you have more than enough memory available to handle the software, the operating system and the rest of the software that may be running in the background.
If this is an online game you’re running, it may be eating up all the bandwidth resulting to a slower internet connection. Try and scan your computer for infection as well.
Thank you. Hope it helps.

Genebraldo Regio. Hello,
If you can give details about your System and Game information, it would be very helpful. I think your new hardware and software did not match properly as well as the plug-ins. And so mainly, your system should be reorganized and install Windows again.
If not, please inform me about your system and drivers.
It may be helpful.
