PC problem with Motherboard ports

Hello everyone,

I have problems with my pc.

First my external speakers, when I connect them to the integrated sound card, the right speaker makes strange noises, but when

I connect them with my TV they sound fine.

Then, there's something wrong with the USB ports because my mouse freezes for a second sometimes.

My motherboard is Gigabyte 946GMX-S2 and my power supply is Power Man 300W

My PC has 2GB RAM and Intel q6600 CPU.

If you can help, please do it 🙂

Thanks!

Hi

It looks like female port at your sound card is faulty. Because when you connect your speakers to your TV it works fine.

As this sound card is built into your Motherboard, you should buy a new PCI sound card, or if your motherboard is still in warranty (which I'm sure it won't be, because it's old) then replace it. Do not try to replace the port hub for your sound card, because a smallest mistake of you can ruin your motherboard.

If your mouse is an optical mouse then its laser calibration is distorted. And you cannot fix it. So, you need to replace your mouse too. I don't think there is something wrong with your USB hub.

Bob

Hi,

I don't think anything is wrong with female port of your sound card. According to me experience you don't have right drivers for your motherboard you should buy appropriate drivers for your motherboard.
