This will only take a few things to do so read thoroughly the steps:

1.   Open the “Automator”, which can be found in the “Applications” > “Utilities”.

2.   With “Automator”, drag out “Get Selected Finder Items” and then “Extract PDF Text” and I advice you to change the       output choice to ‘Rich Text’.

3.   Save file, whichever from the following choices: as a file or an application.

4.   Test. Drag a PDF file on the Automator file, after a little waiting period, you will now have a text file together with it extracted text. The text file is comprised with every single text detail from the PDF file format.

In preview open the PDF document, copy and insert the preferred text in Word or Text Edit.  One more easy method to perform this task via an Automaton application that supports drag and drop for PDF to Rich Text translation.

Basically drag and drop a PDF file onto the PDF to Text application and you can see your text in the Rich Text File which has been imported the PDF file
