PeerGuardian error when shutting down the PC
Hello Raquel,
Have you made any changes on your computer recently, for instance installed new programs, uninstalled a program or performed a system update?
The error you are getting is most likely as a result of changes you might have made on your computer.
To resolve the issue you will need to do the following:
-
Perform a System Restore on your computer. That will get rid of any changes that you might have made on your computer that are causing the PeerGuardian application to malfunction.
-
Or the error could be as a result of corrupt registry entries associated with the application. If that is the case you will need to runCCleaner so as to fix all problems with registry entries on your computer.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Carl

If that error keeps appearing whenever you shut down the computer and the program is running, try closing the program first before shutting down the machine. See if this works. If the problem continues, uninstall and reinstall the program. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select the affected program among the applications and click “Uninstall”.
Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, close Revo Uninstaller then install the program back. See if this works. Try also updating the program to the latest version.
