Pending Windows Update Throws 0xc1900130 Error

WU component in the Windows Update display 0xc1900130 error code occurs when the user tries to install the pending updates using the automated WU component. This error code is signaling that the network connection between the client-server and the Windows update server is interrupted. Third-party Antivirus interference, conflict between Driver and Windows, Third-party applications, and Corrupted WU component are reasons behind the occurrence of the error code. The methods to resolve the error code are as follows:

Method 1:

Preventing the 3^rd party interference.

Method 2:

Renaming the iastorac.sys driver.

Step 1: Open the File Explorer and checks that the extensions are visible or not.

Step 2: Now, go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers.

Step 3: Scroll down and locate iastora.sys.

Step 4: Rename the file to iastora.sys.old to force Windows to disregard it.

Step 5: At the User Account Control, click on Yes to grant admin access to allow the editing.

Step 6: Restart the system and checks for the error is resolved or not.
