Hello friends,
I made a slide show with ProShow Gold and went back and forth to Photoshop to do some editing. Since then, whenever I click on Photoshop CS3, nothing happens. In the Task Manager, it shows up as an active process and won't let me end the process called Photoshop.exe.
I've reinstalled Photoshop and tried starting it from the program file folder, still doesn't work. I've used Pareto to do a registry fix, but of no help.
I'm stuck.
I need your suggestions.
Thanks beforehand.

If you are editing something with Adobe Photoshop and with another program and you keep on opening and closing Photoshop, it probably corrupted the configuration files which prevents you from starting Photoshop again. First, try restarting the computer and try again. If this doesn’t work, try resetting the preferences file. Press and hold CTRL + ALT + SHIFT then start Photoshop.
Click “Yes” when you are prompted with “Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?” For Mac, press and hold Command + Option + Shift. Photoshop should continue loading and will recreate the preferences file using default settings. If the problem continues and Photoshop still doesn’t start, try to uninstall and reinstall the program. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it.
Once installed, start Revo then select Adobe Photoshop among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, exit Revo then install Adobe Photoshop back.
