I have Photoshop CS4 installed in windows 7 starter. I’ve been downloading brushes from the internet. After that I save them in my desktop and then extract the file if needed, I extract everything. Then I go to program files and move the file. Under the c: root directory and under the program files I look for the folder Adobe then Adobe Photoshop, Presets and lastly Brushes. For more clarification here’s the whole directories where I’ve save my downloaded brushes “C:Program FilesAdobeAdobe Photoshop CS4PresetsBrushes”.

Well my problem goes this way; after I’ve successfully downloaded all the brush put them in the right directory folder I open my Photoshop, click the brush tool and look for the brush that I downloaded but none of them seems to be available. What the heck! Where did my brushes go? Please provide me solutions for my problem.

Hi Alexius,

Once you have extracted your downloaded brushes in your selected folder. Start Photoshop and choose the Brush icon on the left column toolbar. Once selected, there will be another horizontal toolbar where you can choose the brush you want. Click on the arrow to show your available brushes. Then you will see another arrow on the right. Click it and then select "Load Brushes…". Choose the folder where you downloaded the brushes then let Photoshop load it. Now look for your brushes again and they should be there. Once you load the brushes, you won't need to load it again when you restart Photoshop. Unless you changed the location of the brushes.
