I am looking for the photoshop glossary of terms pdf and was thinking it might be on the Adobe website somewhere but I couldn't find it, I found the CS5 and CS6 manual but it didn't contain a glossary of terms.

There are several books that contains and teaches the principles and basic things about Adobe Photoshop, I would love to recommend to buy those books for they contains much glossary than of the manuals that are given by the Adobe company, with such. You can first try Googling the books on books.google.com, it is an online repository of books that is available today
