Pinterest gaining popularity in the market

Pinterest is a relatively new social media site which allows people to share photos and videos of their interest. Face book is considering it as a threat for him. It is completely different from face book and provides a great opportunity for content marketing.

Main thing for a social media site is its traffic and face book uses millions of dollars to search possible traffic sources. Pinterest get more refer traffic than Google plus, LinkedIn and you tube combined and this rings a bell to facebook. Yet now pinterest traffic is very less as compare to face book but Pinterest has shown explosive 4000% growth just in last six months.

 Pinterest is just on beta and it requires invitation for sign up and when it is going for its full version then it will be a real threat for face book and twitter.
