To answer your question, it is a matter of user preference. The Playstation Vita is intended for portable use, so playing games on the go is the primary objective of the said unit. However, the introduction of online gaming is also one of the features the Playstation Vita has. Because of this, numerous games that are online-capable are already released on the market, where PS Vita owners can connect to other PS Vita owners to play great games like Mortal Kombat, Gravity Rush or Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. So far, online gaming for the PS Vita mainly focuses only on fighting games, as these games can easily be started by two players.
But expect other game genres to dive in to the online gaming community, like strategy games or even RPG games. They can use the online capability of the PS Vita to track user records, scores or play head-to-head with little to no lag.
