Copy a Lotus Notes R5 database. I want to copy a database containing thousands of documents from Lotus Notes R5. It is located on a server accessible via my computer. I want to move it to another storage device.Â
Does the database need to be converted to a different file first? How?

Please help on how to copy my Database into Lotus Notes R5?
Greetings.
Hello Erich, I have some suggestion and i hope it will guide you and answer your problem regarding to have a copy of database that are containing thousands of documents.
If you are pertaining in notes copy you can make and read with the use of NOTES CLIENT and also without the access of the server but if it is depending on what do you need to do it.
If you need to COPY THE DATABASE you can do this by going to FILE and after that go to the DATABASE and then followed by COPY or NEW COPY and then CREATE LOCAL COPY after you create a LOCAL COPY you can now browse of what drive to be save it.
I hope it will help you and guide to solve your problem.
