The default Windows media players often do not support all the file formats, and thus you are getting the 0xc00d5212 error.

You can convert your files to some other format –

a. Open this
b. Upload files to convert.
c. Choose a preset.

d. Click on Start conversion.
e. Download the file, and play.

Method 2 – Update graphics driver

a. Right-click on the start menu.
b. Open the Device Manager.
c. Open Display adapters.
d. Right-click on the menu item.

e. Click on Update driver.

f. Choose the option shown in the image.
g. Go through the prompts as they come to complete the process.
h. Restart your device.
i. Play video.

You can install third-party media players like VLC that supports almost all the formats.
