Since you are using Norton AntiVirus on Microsoft Windows 10, I guess the version of the Norton AntiVirus you are using is the older version. Currently, there is no more Norton AntiVirus. Norton AntiVirus is now known as Norton Security Deluxe. Symantec fused Norton AntiVirus and Norton Internet Security and the product is Norton Security Deluxe, a combination of an antivirus and an internet security program.

Since you are using Windows 10 with an old antivirus, you should expect this kind of issue because the operating system still has many issues to resolve. Not all programs execute smoothly on this new operating system and not so many applications support it. So, to fix your problem, I guess you should install the latest version, Norton Security Deluxe because it is compatible with Microsoft Windows 10.

Download the latest version from Norton Security Deluxe. This is a trial version. Unfortunately, the antivirus feature called Virus Protection Promise requires a paid subscription and doesn’t apply to the free trial period. So, I guess, this feature will be disabled when you install the trial version.
