My sister accidentally spilled a lot of water on my laptop! I am frantic. We are looking for a way to fix this. Please tell can a water damaged laptop be fixed?

Please Tell Can A Water Damaged Laptop Be Fixed?

Quickly remove the battery from the laptop, or it can short circuit!
Then remove all other external substances, SD cards, hard disk, charger etc.
Turn it upside down and let the liquid drain.
Meanwhile, find a lint free cleaner and clean the body of the laptop.
If your keyboard is removable, remove it before cleaning.
Then, clean the mouse using the same cleaner.
If needed, take apart the components using a screwdriver and clean the inside using a hair dryer.
