Recently I brought an Android phone named "Plum Capacity" from Plum Phones. I am unable to get Internet through Wi-Fi. As it is my initial Android phone, I don’t know about how to connect to the internet through Wi-Fi. I thought to have connected to the internet through my Home Wi-fi system. Please advice.

Much like you many Android first time users get confused in configuring their device. Here are a few steps you should follow and then you should be good to go:

Step 1 -> Firstly, make sure to switch on the Wifi System in sharing mode and check whether you can access the internet through an another device.

Step 2 -> Next go to Menu -> Settings -> Network Settings -> Wifi. Switch on the wifi in your phone and wait for it to detect your Home System Wifi. Once detected it will flash on your device screen and click on it to connect to it. If it is password protected you have to enter the password. Once entered the internet connectivity symbol must appear on the topside right hand corner of your phone near the battery indicator icon. Both the arrows blink to confirm upload and download activity.
If you are not able to access the wifi after step 2 then there is a problem with the Wifi in your phone. Contact the customer support and have your piece exchanged immediately. Cheers.
