Port 8443 is not responding for licensing error

Hi tech people,

I am facing a weird error message while I try to uninstall software from the laptop. I never experienced this sort of error in my experience. I used to do this job without any difficulty. The error states that Port is not responding means the Licensing error. How do I rectify this Licensing error? Please help me. Thanks a lot.

 

Port 8443 is not responding. This port must be open to communicate with the License Application Server.

Port 8443 is not responding for licensing error

Hello,

In order to troubleshoot this issue, you have to check that any proxy or “caching proxy server” isn’t using the port. Also you have to make sure that the port isn’t being used by your Firewall.

If you’re using Socks proxy server, for example, IBM WebSphere Application server setup as proxy server, check that the SSL port 443 is allowed to be accessed.
