Hi,Â
Awhile back I bought a Seagate 320G portable hard drive, for whatever reason.
It needed to be formatted before I could use it, so I figured out how to do that, and have been using it ever since for backing up my laptop and desktop stuff have used about 100G of it.

Portable Hard Drive Wants ReFormat
Hi dear,
I tell you its some reasons.
1. When you insert new hard drive then you should format it because window which is used in that hard drive that is not compatible to your system.
2. If your system say for reformat then if you reformat it then you lose all the data. So don't reformat it if you have important data in your hard drive
I recommend you some techniques.
Check your hard drive partition. If it has more partitions then you put some data in other drives and do blank one drive when you do this then you delete that partition not format whole drive.
When you delete partition after deleting create partition again and then install window in that partition then you can use your hard drive and your data do not lose.
Ok
