Possibility of flashing on cam

Hi Experts,

I have purchase one webcam with flash led's. Is it possible to use this LED's as a flash light , like mobiles. I am trying and searched online but didn't find any related software. Please suggest me solution or software.

Possibility of flashing on cam

It would have been great, if the webcam LED could be used as a flash like just like the mobile phone, but unfortunately it is not the case.

It works as a light sensor and hence does not produce enough light to be used as a flash for taking pictures, as it is not focused toward any single direction and hence does not have the functionality that a normal flash is supposed to undertake.
