What are the various ways I could utilize to cleanup win95 after uninstalling the Operating System from my legacy personal computer to ensure that I am able to install at least a more recent OS?
Possible methods to cleanup win95 after OS uninstallation
Hi Bond,
First of all please make a backup of your entire files or just the sensible ones that you don’t need to lose.
If you will format your hard drive in the install steps of a new operating system, then the computer will be clean for the new version.
First of all, if you want to go to this path please make sure that your computer will support the new operating system. In general, please take a look at your hardware configuration.
For Windows XP operating system the minimum system requirements are:
– At lease P 233 MHz with a processor of 300 MHz.
– At least 64 MB RAM.
– At least 1.5 GB of hard disk space.
– One CD=ROM that it’s working.
Please review your hardware and reply if you need further assistance.
