Hi All,
Is it possible in an installation that only management tools can be upgraded to SP1? I’m using Server 2008 R2 which has Exchange 2010 management tools installed but I’m getting errors. Can you please help me?

Thank you for your question, I hope you can fix your problem by given solution.
Exchange Server 2010 Management Tools is installed on a computer is a single operating system running one of the following:
Windows Vista 64-bit with Service Pack 2.
Windows 7 64-bit.
Windows Server 2008 64-bit with Service Pack 2.
Windows Server 2008 R2.
To install the Exchange 2010 Management Tools on your Windows 7 computer you must first configure the prerequisite components.
Open the Control Panel, click Programs and then click Turn Windows features on or off. Enable the features shown here.
Activate Windows 7 features required for Exchange Server 2010 management tools.
Download Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 SP1 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=5002) and extract to a temporary folder on your computer. From that folder, launch Setup.exe.
Install pre-requisites for Exchange Server 2010 SP1 on Windows 7.
Or else click on Step 3 and choose Install only languages from the DVD.
Choose language options for installing Exchange Server 2010 SP1 on Windows 7.
Next, click on Step 4 to start the installation.
Begin installation of Exchange Server 2010 SP1 on Windows 7.
Click Next at the introduction page, then accept the license agreement and click Next, then choose your preference for Error Reporting and click Next again.
In the Installation Type page, choose Custom Exchange Server Installation, and also tick the box to automatically install the Windows Server roles and functionality required for Exchange Server and click Next.

Select the Management Tools role and click Next.

When the Readiness Checks have completed successfully click Install.
Begin installation of Exchange 2010 management tools on Windows 7.
After completing the Exchange Management Console installer and you can launch from the Start -> All Programs -> Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 menu.
