The latest version The KMPlayer 3.1.0.0 is really awesome. Can I take snapshot as it can be done in the vlc?

Hi Trevorvalentin,

Yes you can, KMPlayer is one of the most powerful video players out there.

to take a screen shot in KMPlayer even better than that to extract frames to make GIF you right click on the video and choose capture then frame extract and select the output folder then play your video around the area you want screenshots of.

Now go to the output folder to find all the screenshots of the played part.

Hello,

KMPlayer 3.1.0.0 can be used to take a screenshot of the video running on the system, in this player. Screenshots of movies or videos can be captured in multiple ways and saved as BMP, PNG and JPG formats. The player also allows the user to capture Video and Audio in multiple ways. The player also directly works with the image files like .ISO and .Bin.

KMPlayer 3.1.0.0 is really awesome supporting various container formats like DVD, MKV, AVI, VCD, OGM, 3GP, WMV, Quick Time, Ogg Theora, Real Media, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-3, MPEG-4. 

    

All the above features are available in the player for free from 2008. The player also handles a wide range of subtitles, provides various video effects and external and internal filters. It supports camera, TV and HDTV.
