PowerPoint found a problem Systemax VI.pptx while repairing a presentation

Hi,

Microsoft PowerPoint has encountered a problem. The screenshot of the message is as below. It is very urgent to complete the presentation. It intends to repair the presentation.

 

What should I do? I think it may not save my whole presentation. If you have any idea for the issue please, help me.

PowerPoint found a problem Systemax VI.pptx while repairing a presentation

Follow the steps below to fix this issue:

• Click the Start button and then type dcomcnfg in the search box. Click the dcomcnfg under the Programs.
• Expand the Component Services, expand the Computers and then right-click My Computer option. Click Properties.

• On the Default Properties tab, modify the following:

– Default Authentication Level: Connect.

– Default Impersonation Level: Identify.

 

• Click the OK button to close.

Hi Jock,

If you want to solve your problem then follow the instructions below:

1. Press the button "start" and go to "search box". Please type "dcomcnfg".
2. Please now click with mouse right button on "my computer" and select "properties".
3. Now, go to the tab "Default properties".
4. Go to "Default authentication level" and select "connect".
5. Go to "default impersonation level" and select identify.
6. Now, click on "ok". That’s all.

Your step by step system is very helpful, with following it I have fixed my problem so easily that I can’t even believe I solved it myself!
