Why my computer fails to connect to another computer on the network which has printer shared on it. Each time I try to print some document using that printer connection failed error occurs??
Printer connection failed when printing from a networked computer.
Â
The problem is that your computer is not interconnected with the other computer  Are they connected on a switch or hub?

Â
Try to ping the IP address of the other PC
Click start, run , type cmd and then enter, then type ipconfig, please determine the IP address of the other PC  doing the same procedure.
Â
Then at command prompt type ping x.x.x.x the IP Address of the other PC.
Â
Then make sure the printer is shared
Click start, control panel, Click view devices and printers.
-
If the printer is installed already in the PC right click properties
-
Click the Sharing tab In the Properties window and make sure the printer is shared
If you can ping the IP address of the PC with shared printer then this is the time to configure your PC to be able to access and use the printer.
Â
Click start, in the run window type the ip address to access \x.x.x.x there you see the share printer , right click and then install

Very well informative. I don't really have any idea on doing troubleshooting especially when it comes to technical matters. Thanks to this site.
Adryan, that was really great. My printing is working well now.
Thumbs up!Â
