Printer not found Unable to locate a printer with this address.

In Mac Operating System I install the driver of printer. But my computer says with me that the printer is not found when I receive this error then I replace printer cable, but I can’t remove error. Also,my printer is online.

Can any one tell me its solution.

Printer not found Unable to locate a printer with this address.

Are you connecting your printer via the Ethernet port or through the USB port?  If via the Ethernet connection, network printers have default IP addresses you can check that out on your printer’s manual.  The IP settings of your printer must conform to the IP settings of your existing network.  This might be the reason why you are getting that error message.  To setup your printer, first set a static IP on your computer that is on the same range with your printers’.  Then try to run the printer CD, check if it can be detected.  When it is detected, as you go along the installation process it will then ask you about the network setting, setup that up according to the settings of your existing network.  Once everything is setup don’t forget to do a power cycle. Just turn off your printer for a minute and turn it back on.
