I have this new printer called Office jet Pro 8500 Premier A909 that I just bought.Â
The printer has 2 trays; the second tray, which by the way is the default printing tray, is what I use for printing documents in plain paper, and the first tray is what I use for printing my medical billing forms.
However, when printing these forms, instead of the tray 1, it keeps on printing on tray 2, which is just for plain paper. I don’t know what should be done so that when printing, it will shift to the first tray instead of the second one.
These forms require to be printed from tray 1 where the special media tray is, so I need help on how to do this.Â

Printing problems using a Office jet Pro 8500 Premier A909
Hello Borisio,
With the problem encounter in printing with the use of Office jet Pro 8500.
To use the Tray 2 in a printer see to it that Tray Lock feature is enabled so that it will not use the other tray 1 or default tray set to tray2 and tray lock is set to tray 1. Â
Other option would be determining the paper source in printing preferences you just manually select the Tray2 and don’t forget to select the media type which is only Plain paper.
Check also paper size use in the application like MS word that must be the same with printing preferences to have no conflict.
Try refer also to your user’s manual for some interesting guide about your  Office jet Pro 8500 Premier A909 printer.
