Hey everyone, Last night a problem occurred while I was trying to open a recently made session file using – open recent session – in Pro Tools 9. I’m using Mac OS and this is the first time an error like this appeared:
“Could not complete the Open Session…command because Pro Tools could not be set sample rate to specified value. ”
Thank you very much for your time.

Pro Tools 9 error message
Hello Charles,
This may be the problem of corruption of the file. The error you have shown in your message, its meaning is you file's sample rate can' identify by pro tools. You have to always save the backup file for recovery.
In the end the file is corrupted. Or you can get help from the protools help regarding this. May me solved.
Best Wishes
Pro Tools 9 error message
Hi,
So far I can tell the problem is not with clocking. Try this. First open the setup bar from the menu and go the playback option. The current engine option is set to “Pro Tools Aggregate I/O” by default. Set it to your current engine from the list. It is best to use the built in engine so that compatibility won’t be an issue.
