Problem in acer aspire control panel

I am facing a problem in my 8983 acer aspire controlpanel. At this time volume control panel which is on the left side is lit as mute however the volume is indicating full also and is not muted. How can I resolve this problem and finish mute. I need assistance.

Problem in acer aspire control panel

 

Hi,

                Try looking at the device manager, to go there just follow this steps right click my computer then go to properties next, go to device manger then find the part where the sound is placed, go to “sound, video and game controllers” see if there is an image of question mark if there is, just right click that part and update driver software. Hope this helps.
