I need your opinion so that I can solve this recurring problem.
Everyday a certain “Android download manager” is using around 10GB on the back end of a retail website.
This activity is stretching the bandwidth far more than any other demand on it.
I have gone everywhere on the internet in search of solutions, but I cannot find anything useful.
Should I delete this program?
Please help.

Problem with Android download manager uses a lot of bandwidth
If I where you, try to close these application all together, then monitor your bandwidth again. If it doesn’t work , it could possibly be a virus, but at this point, I find it very unlikely.
Android phones do get viruses. From the researchers of Kaspersky Lab, they have discovered the first Android Malware which sends text messages to premium rate numbers.
To prevent viruses to come to your phone, I suggest:
1. Read the app's reviews.
2. Check its permissions.
3. Search when in doubt.
