Problem with avid codec le installation
Hello Alanjayason,
First you can try to rename your downloaded file to .exe and try to install.
Then if that not help you, you can try Download Avid Quick Time Codec LE 2.3.8 again from:
http://www.free-codecs.com//www.free-codecs.com/avid_quicktime_codecs_download.htm
There you have instructions how to download the zip file.
I really hope this tip will help you and fit your requirement!
Problem with avid codec le installation
Hello
It sounds like your codec is corrupt. Try installing Cucusoft Codec fixer 1.0. Download and install the application. Run the program and it will find and repair any corrupt codecs,
I would NOT install codec packs as there are many different versions of the same codec. This more than often leads to codec conflicts which can cause errors when playing videos.
I would recommend using VLC player. There is no need to install codecs. VLC player has built in codecs and will play 99% of videos formats. The program is open source and completely free.
