Problem in client certification for IE

I created a website and given client certification there.  I installed active directory certificate service to issue client certificates. It works fine in mozilla firefox but for IE it’s not working. It is not even asking for certification. Can anyone help me with this matter?

Problem in client certification for IE

There are two ways to install a digital certificate.

First:

Directly installing the digital certificate by double clicking on the certificate.

Second:

By importing the certificates in to IE. By going to the Internet Options -> Content -> Certificates.

You can use the second method if it doesn't work. 

Both methods should work.

If it doesn't work by using the first method try to do by second method.
